In 2005, Steve Salvi began making pasta – based on his family recipes from Abruzzo, Italy and techniques he learned from watching his mother – in the basement of his home. Making deliveries door to door himself, local chefs soon fell in love with his pasta and the business grew.
Today, Steve has moved out of the kitchen and into a modern facility. But the Old World lessons and artisan craftsmanship remain as he and his small staff make custom batches of specialty sizes and shapes. All of Fede’s pastas are flavored with a high egg content combined with in-house blended flours, which lends a rich flavor other brands can’t match.
